Trump’s return is widely seen as disruptive. He did not disappoint, signing a rash of executive orders on Day One of his second term. Some of these will face legal challenges. But many will survive.
However, the oncoming disruption cannot be attributed to Trump alone. His very re-election is a result of several such disruptive political changes – especially against immigration – that were already manifest in US and Europe.
