Scooter sales in India experienced some interesting changes during April 2025. According to SIAM data, Honda Activa is still at the top. Other scooters such as TVS Jupiter and Suzuki Burgman Street have also experienced interesting changes. While some scooters experienced a boost in sales, others experienced a decline. Let’s explore how all the top five scooters performed last month.
Honda Activa: Still India’s Top Scooter
The Activa scooter remains India’s highest-selling scooter. Honda in April 2025 sold 1,94,787 units. It is a 2.66% increase compared to March 2025, when sales were 1,89,735. Nevertheless, sales declined by 25.16% compared to April 2024.
Honda Activa 110 and Activa 125 are efficient and reliable. These two-wheelers are simple to ride and require less maintenance. Additionally, the price of Activa is Rs 78,684, which is very affordable. Its good resale value and basic design make the scooter ideal for Indian families.
TVS Jupiter: Rs 77,291
TVS retailed 1,02,588 units of Jupiter scooters in April 2025. This is down a tiny bit from 1,05,834 units in March 2025. But compared to 77,086 units sold in April 2024, it’s a whopping 33.08% increase.
The Jupiter 110 is now equipped with new styling and new features. It has the largest underseat storage in its segment. Additionally, the new DT SXC variant is trendy and priced reasonably. These attributes are increasing its popularity all over India.
Suzuki Access 125: Rs 83,800
The Suzuki Access 125 sold 65,107 units in April 2025. This is a small dip from March’s 66,362 units. Still, it’s a 5.07% rise from April 2024’s 61,960 units.
Access 125 is known for its smooth engine and premium build quality. It’s a perfect scooter for families. Moreover, Suzuki recently launched a new variant with a modern TFT display. This might attract more buyers in the coming months.
TVS NTorq 125: Rs 86,841
TVS sold 25,383 units of the NTorq 125 in April 2025. This is a solid 15.65% increase from March. However, sales dropped 16.53% when compared to April 2024.
The NTorq is sporty, stylish, and packed with features. Young riders especially love its look and feel. But it hasn’t seen a major update in a while. A new design and color options might help boost its sales soon.
Suzuki Burgman Street 125: Rs 95,800

Suzuki sold 23,050 Burgman Street scooters in April 2025. This is a steep 26.16% drop from March 2025. However, YoY sales grew by 30.37% compared to April 2024.
The Burgman Street offers a maxi-scooter feel with a bold look. It shares parts with the Access 125 but looks much more premium. Moreover, it now has a loyal fan base that loves its unique design.
