Royal Enfield has officially showcased the Flying Flea C6 in India. It is the manufacturer’s first ever electric bike. The much anticipated motorcycle has retro roadster styling, but with an electric twist. It is expected to be launched globally by mid-2026.
Design
The Flying Flea C6 draws inspiration from the iconic Flying Flea used during World War II, incorporating vintage design elements with a modern take on it. The bike features a round headlamp, handlebar mounted indicators, circular mirrors, and a slim tank design, all adding to its retro styling.
Performance
Royal Enfield plans to position the Flying Flea C6 as an urban motorcycle, ideal for city commuting. Given that larger batteries for longer ranges typically add more weight, the Flea C6 has been designed to offer adequate range with a relatively lighter kerb weight. The battery pack, which powers the bike, is placed just below the ‘fuel’ tank, with functional cooling fins.
Underpinnings
The Flea is equipped with a disc brake and alloy wheels at both ends. Suspension wise, it has a unique girder fork, and a monoshock. It will most likely also get dual-channel ABS.
Pricing & Rivals
The C6 is expected to be priced at Rs 2.5 lakh (ex-showroom), and will be manufactured at the manufacturer’s upcoming EV factory in Vallam Vadagal, Tamil Nadu. The bike does not really have any direct rivals, but upon launch could take on other electric bikes like the upcoming Ola Roadster Pro and also maybe the Ultraviolette F77. Although, its classic inspired design makes it stand out compared to every other electric bike.

As more electric vehicles enter the scene, it will be exciting to see how the Flying Flea C6 performs in the ever evolving EV landscape. While the Flying Flea C6 is Royal Enfield’s first venture into the electric space, it will certainly not be its last. The launch is expected to happen sometime around mid-2026. The company has other projects in development as well, with the Scrambler S6 set to follow the C6. We will be updating the story with more images and further details from the unveil event soon, so stay tuned.
