Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 Modified into a Stunning Cafe Racer TechTricks365

Rajputana Customs have totally reworked Royal Enfield’s Shotgun 650. The bobber-styled motorcycle now resembles a futuristic cafe racer. The changes involve a fresh headlight, fuel tank, and custom subframe. In addition, the ergonomics have been tweaked to provide the motorcycle with a sportier riding position.

The exhaust, wheels, brakes, and suspension have also been improved. Although the engine is the same, performance has been tweaked for improved power output. This build demonstrates how much a bike can be transformed so that it appears and feels entirely different.

Complete Design Overhaul

At first glance, this Royal Enfield Bike has been completely transformed from the original model. The bobber styling has given way to a more aggressive, sleek cafe racer look. The big stock headlight has been replaced by a smaller, white-finished unit, which sharpens the front end of the bike. The stock fuel tank has also been replaced by a smaller, more stylish unit that adds to the futuristic appearance of the bike.

The rear section and seat have also seen some serious modifications. The new shape flows effortlessly along with the fuel tank, resulting in an aerodynamic, flowing look. In addition, the subframe of the bike has also been modified, most probably hand-fabricated by Rajputana Customs. These modifications transform the Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 into a completely different machine that is far removed from its initial bobber roots.

Mechanical Upgrades and Performance Enhancements

Rajputana Customs has also developed the mechanical details of the Shotgun 650. Perhaps the most dramatic change is the custom exhaust system. Twin peashooter exhausts are replaced by redirected, rough-lookin’ units covered with heat-resistant sheathing. It not only gives a better look but also creates a distinctive exhaust sound.

The suspension system has also been greatly improved. Custom inverted forks have replaced the original front forks, offering greater handling and stability. In the rear, the standard twin-shock absorbers have been replaced with a monoshock suspension. Not only does this make the bike more comfortable, but it also makes cornering more capable, making the bike more responsive on twisty roads.

The original alloy wheels are replaced with traditional spoke wheels and track-spec slick tires. The configuration provides greater grip and better handling on the road. Additionally, the braking system has been enhanced with bigger discs at both ends.

Despite the Shotgun 650 still having its stock 648cc, air and oil-cooled, parallel-twin engine, there are some performance tweaks. The air filter has given way to a derestricted air intake system. This provides more air flow into the engine, which increases overall performance.
