Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 Spotted Testing Once Again – Check Out Features, Expected Price And Launch Timeline | BikeDekho TechTricks365

The Himalayan 450’s bigger brother seen this time had some new components

Quick News Highlights:

  • Bigger Royal Enfield Himalayan spotted testing once again

  • Should be capable of both highway touring and off-roading

  • Will likely use the new 750cc engine possibly with more power and torque than the 650 range

  • Launch likely at the end of 2026

After the success of the Himalayan 450 – the brand is now working on a bigger, more capable Himalayan 750. The twin-cylinder adventure tourer has been spotted testing once again in Europe. Unlike last time, the new spy shots reveal a few crucial aspects that are a little different than before.

What the Spy Shots Reveal

From the latest test mule sightings, the Himalayan 750 looks like a larger and tougher version of the 450. It gets a new, taller windshield, and the engine bash plate design is different from last time. It looks like Royal Enfield is experimenting with different windshields to see which one protects the rider the best when it comes to wind blasts. The brand also seems to be optimising the bash plate design to ensure it is strong enough to protect all the crucial parts underside from debris and stones.

Bigger Engine

The new larger Himalayan will most likely use a re-bored, and/ or re-stroked version of Royal Enfield’s current 648cc, parallel-twin engine. With the displacement increased to around 750cc, the engine should be slightly more powerful and torquier than before. The current 648cc engine produces 47.65PS and 52Nm of torque, while the 750cc is expected to deliver around 55PS and 65Nm. It will definitely be much more refined at high speeds than the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450. It could also come with a few basic electronic aids including traction control, off-road riding mode, switchable ABS, and perhaps cruise control.

Other Details

The half-fairing, adjustable brake and clutch levers, and a 19-17 spoke wheel setup – likely with tubed tyres, are all the same from before. The inverted fork will also be adjustable as it has been seen with adjusters on top of the inverted fork. The monoshock seen is a linked-type, probably adjustable too. To handle the increased weight and performance, the Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 gets dual front disc brakes, with ByBre (Brembo’s sub-brand) calipers at both ends. Although still carrying testing equipment, the prototype’s dash is a rectangular TFT instead of a circular one. It comes with full LED lighting as well.

Launch Timeline and Price

A concept or near-production prototype is expected to be showcased at EICMA 2025 in November this year, with the final production version anticipated by late 2026 or early 2027. In terms of pricing, the Himalayan 750 might cost around Rs 4.5 lakh (ex-showroom) in India, making it the flagship adventure tourer in Royal Enfield’s lineup. If our price guess is true, it will also be the most affordable twin-cylinder adventure bike in India, at least until the BMW F 450 GS comes in.
