Oben Electric Enters 4 New States In India With 15 More Retail Stores | BikeDekho TechTricks365

The EV brand aims for 100 retail stores across India by 2026

Quick Highlights:

  • Oben Electric enters 4 new states

  • The brand now has 35 retail stores across India

  • Aiming for 100 stores by 2026

Oben Electric, an Indian electric two-wheeler manufacturer, has opened 15 new showrooms and service centers in  Punjab, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, and Telangana. This brings its total number of showrooms to 35 across India. The company is growing fast, opening new showrooms every month, with a goal of reaching over 100 locations in 50 cities by 2026. After analysing India’s increasing demand for electric vehicles, this growth should work out for Oben Electric. Especially in the commuter motorcycle segment, which covers more than half of the country’s two-wheeler market. Oben now has a presence in Ahmedabad, Amritsar, Indore, Hyderabad and Warangal, with more locations in Delhi NCR, Uttar Pradesh, Kerala, and Maharashtra. To celebrate their expansion operations, Oben Electric is offering a gold coin for the first 30 customers at each new dealership.

The brand currently sells two electric motorcycles, and their latest offering is the Oben Rorr EZ. This e-bike is available in 3 battery pack options, and gets a claimed range of 175 km per charge with a top speed of 95 kmph (claimed). The price range for the Oben Rorr EZ starts at Rs 89,999 (ex-showroom Delhi) for the base 2.4kWh variant whereas the top top spec 4.4kWh variant is priced at Rs 1,09,999 (ex-showroom Delhi).

The electric two-wheeler market in India is growing steadily, with new EV brands and models emerging constantly. Existing players are also ramping up their expansion plans to stay ahead of the competition. Recently, India’s most popular electric bike brand, Revolt Motors also announced that it has 200 dealerships across the country, with plans of doubling it by early 2026. Oben has its work cut out, but it seems the company is on the right track as far as expansion is concerned. We also hope the charging infrastructure also grows alongside the EV makers as only then electric motorcycles will be lucrative enough to choose over affordable petrol-powered commuter bikes.
