Honda started delivering its sports bike, CBR650R, in the Indian market after its launch. It price ₹9.99 lakh (ex-showroom) and can only be purchased through Honda’s BigWing dealerships. Honda CBR650R Engine
A 649cc, liquid-cooled, inline four-cylinder engine powers the 2025 CBR650R. This powertrain generates 63 Nm of torque at 9,500 rpm and 93.8 bhp at 12,000 rpm. It also comes with a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper and assist clutch. Notably, the e-Clutch, which Honda bikes introduced for middleweight bikes in 2023, is not available for the Indian market models.
Honda CBR650R Design and Features
The litre-class CBR1000RR Fireblade served as the inspiration for the design of the 2025 Honda CBR650R. The motorbike has split LED headlights to go with its complete fairing. The new design has a more aggressive style than its predecessor. It is clearly visible in the streamlined rear section and the sharper, more angular fairing.
The CB650R and CBR650R have been updated to include a five-inch TFT screen with turn-by-turn navigation, Bluetooth connection, and SMS and phone notifications. There are two colour options for the CBR650R: Matt Gunpowder Black Metallic and Grand Prix Red.
Honda CBR650R Specifications
The CBR650R has a steel diamond frame, a rear monoshock with a 10-step adjustment, and 41 mm Showa Separate Function Big Piston front forks. Additionally, a 240 mm disc in the back and dual 310 mm discs at the front are in charge of braking. Moreover, the motorbike has switchable traction control and dual-channel ABS. Another noteworthy feature is Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC).
