Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion’s new trailer proves that, as awesome as Elden Ring is, it’d be even better if you could fling enemies at each other. Let’s face it, who hasn’t faced that game’s Godskin Duo and wanted to bludgeon one with the other? That’s just one of the thrills that this open-world mech game has in store.
Set in a post-apocalyptic future (aren’t they all?), Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion has you taking on machines that turned evil when a chunk of the moon hit their planet. It sounds absolutely ridiculous, but I’m here for that and, going how well received the original Daemon X Machina was, so are many other mech fans.
The trailer, which you can watch below, shows the mech suits in action. These aren’t your big, stomping Mechwarrior walking tanks, they’re more like Armored Core 6’s cores, agile enough that you can slash at a foe and jet away before they retaliate.
The trailer also demonstrates how you can use your mech-power to just rip pieces off your opponents and, in some cases, hit them with it. There’s plenty of enemy-hurling too, and though the trailer doesn’t quite sell your foes’ weight, it’s an undeniably cool move to pull off.
Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion is set for a 5 Sep 2025 release. But in the meantime, you can pick up the original Daemon X Machina for 80% off on Steam, making it $9.99 /£7.99.
