BREAKING: 2025 Kawasaki Ninja 650 KRT Edition Launched In India, Rs 11,000 More Than Now-Discontinued Standard Ninja 650 | BikeDekho TechTricks365

Ninja 650 gets slightly expensive for 2025

Quick Highlights:

  • 2025 Kawasaki Ninja 650 KRT edition launched

  • Gets a new Lime Green paint scheme

  • Standard version of the Ninja 650 is discontinued, new KRT edition costs Rs 11,000 more

Kawasaki has launched the 2025 Ninja 650 KRT edition in India at a price of Rs 7,27,000 (ex-showroom Delhi). It has replaced the standard version, and costs Rs 11,000 more than the previous bike.

It gets an exclusive Lime Green paint scheme, which is Kawasaki Racing Team’s trademark livery. This is similar to that of the ZX-10R and it suits the NInja 650 as well. Mechanically the motorcycle remains unchanged, it gets the same 649cc parallel-twin, liquid-motor which makes 68PS at 8,000rpm and 64Nm at 6400rpm. This engine has been praised for its linear power delivery, refinement and reliability.

It uses a steel trellis frame along with conventional telescopic fork and rear monoshock with preload adjustability. It gets 17-inch alloy wheels at both ends with a 120 section front and 160 section rear tyre. The motorcycle also gets a 300mm twin discs at the front and a 220mm rear disc brake.

The Ninja 650 KRT edition gets LED lights all around along with a 4.3-inch TFT display which shows all the necessary information and supports smartphone connectivity and SMS/call alerts. Other than this the motorcycle also gets dual channel ABS, 2 modes for traction control and a slip and assist clutch.

BikeDekho Says

With a price hike of Rs 11,000, the 2025 Ninja 650 KRT Edition does not offer much in terms of changes, other than the livery. Even so, the livery looks similar to every other Kawasaki Ninja, including the ZX-6R, ZX-4R as well as the ZX-10R. This makes all the bikes look pretty much similar to each other while having massive differences in every other aspect. That said, the Ninja 650 is still a great value-for-money sports tourer in the middleweight segment. It undercuts both of its rivals, the Honda CBR650R, and the Triumph Daytona 660.
