A lower-spec standard variant of the Bajaj Pulsar NS200 was seen at a dealership. It suggests that Bajaj may be trying to provide a less expensive version of this motorcycle. This new variant of the Pulsar NS200 has been spotted, featuring a single-channel ABS and conventional telescopic fork. Currently, the Bajaj Pulsar NS200 is priced at Rs. 1.60 lakh (ex-showroom), with a front fork that is upside down and dual-channel ABS. Check out the full details here.
Engine & Specifications
The bodywork, design, LED lighting, and LCD instrument console are all similar to the dual-channel ABS version of the Pulsar NS200. The NS200 still features a 17-inch alloy wheel with tubeless tyres and a perimeter frame.
Maintaining its tune, the 199.5 cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine remains the same. It produces 18.74 Nm of peak torque at 8000 rpm and 24.13 bhp at 9750 rpm. Moreover, it has a six-speed gearbox.
Expected Launch and Price

Bajaj bike is designing a new Pulsar NS200 model to lower the bike’s price. Due to the increasing demand for powerful yet reasonably priced bikes in Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities, this model will primarily target purchasers in these areas. The new Pulsar NS200 is anticipated to cost between ₹5,000 and ₹8,000 less than the existing model since a lower price will enable the bike to reach more people and boost its appeal.
Bajaj hopes to draw in more youthful and first-time customers with this price reduction. The Indian market already has a high level of confidence in the Pulsar series. In actuality, Bajaj Pulsar’s overall sales just surpassed 2 crore units. Bajaj may be able to increase its market share even further with this new strategy.
