At Rs 68,767 (ex-showroom, Delhi), the 2025 Shine 100 now costs Rs 1,867 more than before
The 2025 Honda Shine 100 has been launched in India. Priced at Rs 68,767 (ex-showroom, Delhi), it is now Rs 1,867 more expensive than before. The commuter bike now gets a more eco-friendly OBD-2B compliant engine and new colour options.
What’s New?
The updated Honda Shine 100 is now powered by an OBD-2B compliant 98.98cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces a peak output of 7.3PS and 8.04Nm. The engine is paired with a 4-speed gearbox. The older bike also had the same engine but it wasn’t OBD-2B compliant.
Transitioning to an OBD-2B compliant engine means that the bike now features a set of sensors to collect vehicle diagnostic data. This includes information like engine temperature, fuel-air ratio, fuel quality, engine emission sensors, among others. This contributes to making the bike more eco-friendly in the long run.
The 2025 Honda Shine 100 now also gets an updated paint scheme. Hence, it is available in 5 colours now: Black with Orange (new), Black with Gray, Black with Green, Black with Red, and Black with Blue.
What Remains Unchanged?
The 2025 Shine 100 has the same dual-pod instrument console that shows a speedometer, odometer and fuel gauge. The updated Shine 100 is equipped with a telescopic fork and twin rear shock absorbers. Braking is handled by a 130mm front and a 110mm rear drum, with CBS (combined braking system). It is fitted with 17-inch wheels at both ends.
It has a ground clearance of 168mm, a seat height of 786mm and a fuel tank capacity of 9 litres. With a kerb weight of 99kg, the Shine 100 is also a very lightweight motorcycle.
Honda Shine 100 Rivals:
The Honda Shine 100 is a good alternative to other affordable commuter motorcycles in the 100-110cc segment such as the Hero Splendor Plus, Hero HF Deluxe, Bajaj Platina 100, and TVS Sport.
