Quick Highlights

  • 2025 Honda CB150 Verza has been launched in Indonesia

  • Gets a new colour scheme and an exhaust cover

  • Is offered in an alloy wheel and spoke wheel variant

Honda has launched the updated 2025 Honda CB150 Verza in Indonesia. The bike now gets a new red colour scheme which looks quite flashy. Along with the new colour, the bike now also gets a slightly altered exhaust cover design. Both these changes have made the bike look quite good.

The new red colour scheme features a red finish on the tank, with a Honda logo in white. Other than this, the headlight section, side panel, tail section and grab handles are all finished in black. The bike is also offered in a Black colour scheme, which is a lot more subtle than the flashy red colour.

Aside from the addition of the new colours, and the changed exhaust cover, the bike hasn’t undergone any massive changes. It still features the same retro-looking round headlight design, along with the sculpted tank and simple looking tail light section.

Powering the bike is a 149.15cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine which outputs 13.04PS and 12.73Nm, and works with a 5-speed transmission The bike gets a telescopic fork and a twin-rear shock absorber setup. Depending on the variant, the rider can either go for a 17-inch alloy wheel setup or a 17-inch spoke wheel one. Typical of a 150cc commuter, this one too gets a front disc and a rear drum.

It is offered at a price of 24,340,000 Indonesian Rupiah which comes to around Rs 1.21 lakh (on road) for the alloy wheel variant. For the spoke wheel variant, the price is 23,710,000 Indonesian Rupiah, which is around Rs 1.20 lakh (on road). The alloy wheel variant is offered in both the red and black colour schemes whereas the spoke wheel variant is only offered in black.

Overall, the bike has a simple, no-nonsense retro look, but is unlikely to come to India anytime soon. That said, we wish Honda brings a retro 150cc commuter based on the tried-and-tested Unicorn platform. If Yamaha can offer the FZ-X, then why not Honda?

It’s no crime to dream but we must accept the fact that Honda’s market approach in India has been very cautious. The number of pocket-friendly retro bike enthusiasts may not be large enough for Honda to make such a move. This is also probably why Honda sticks to the Unicorn in the 150-160cc commuter segment as it is a bike that racks up steady sales month after month, year after year. However, things are still a bit hopeful as Honda recently patented a neo-retro roadster in India, sparking speculations of its India launch.
