2025 Bajaj Pulsar NS200 Price To Get Cheaper, Base Variant Spotted At Dealership, Official Launch Soon | BikeDekho TechTricks365

A lower spec variant with telescopic fork and single-channel ABS was spotted at a dealership

Quick News Highlights:

  • New Bajaj Pulsar NS200 variant spotted with single-channel ABS and a telescopic fork

  • Will be the most affordable version of the bike

  • The previous-gen NS200 used to have a telescopic fork and single-channel ABS

A new base variant of the Bajaj Pulsar NS200 has been spotted recently – meaning the popular entry level streetfighter will now become more affordable. The new version, which has recently reached showrooms – comes with simpler mechanical components and fewer features.

What Has Changed?

The most notable change in this new lower-spec variant is that instead of an inverted fork, it gets a telescopic fork. Additionally, it also gets single-channel ABS for the front wheel, instead of dual-channel on the top-spec bike.

Pricing and Availability

This new base model of the Pulsar NS200 is expected to be more affordable by at least Rs 10,000 to Rs 15,000 than the current top model – which is priced at Rs 1,60,160 (ex-showroom, Delhi). While the exact pricing for the new variant has not been confirmed yet, Bajaj aims to offer this version at a more attractive price point, making it more accessible to a broader range of buyers.

Engine

Powering the bike is the same 199.5cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 24.5PS at 9,750rpm and 18.74Nm at 8,000rpm. It is mated to a six-speed gearbox, and complies with the latest OBD-2B emission standards.

Underpinnings

The bike rides on a perimeter frame and 17-inch alloy wheels, fitted with tubeless tires on both ends – 100-section at the front and 130 at the rear. And, as mentioned above, this new version now comes with a telescopic fork – but retains the gas-charged monoshock. Braking wise, it gets a 300mm front and 230mm rear disc brakes.

Features

Despite the changes aimed at reducing costs, it continues to come with a fully digital instrument console, Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, and phone alerts. The bike also still has all LED lighting and a USB charging port.

BikeDekho Says

By introducing this more affordable variant, Bajaj is widening the reach of the NS200. Bajaj seems to have come full circle as its previous-generation NS200 was equipped with a telescopic fork and a single-channel ABS. The only difference in the bike now is that it gets all the bits as mentioned in the features section. The new variant is expected to be officially launched soon.
