2025 Bajaj Dominar 250 India Launch Soon, Cheapest Dominar Variant Reaches Dealerships | BikeDekho TechTricks365

Gets lots of features, is the most value-for-money 250cc performance cruiser in India

Quick News Highlights

  • The 2025 Bajaj Dominar 250 has reached dealerships

  • Now gets new console with smartphone connectivity

  • Also features a traction control system and ABS modes

The 2025 Bajaj Dominar 250 has now arrived at dealerships and the bike has received some much needed changes. The changes include a new instrument console offering smartphone connectivity and related features, along with some useful electronic riding aids.

What Has Changed?

The biggest change with the 2025 update is of course the addition of a new console. The console is the same as the one which we have seen on the Bajaj Pulsar NS200. The addition of this console has brought some new features to the bike, such as smartphone connectivity with turn-by-turn navigation and call/SMS alerts.

Along with this, the bike has also got a new traction control system and ABS modes as well. The traction control system is a nice addition which will be useful for newer riders. It should improve the overall safety of the bike by preventing the wheel from sliding over slippery surfaces.

The bike gets 3 ABS modes, which are Road, Rain and Off-road, all 3 giving different levels of ABS intervention. That said, the off-road mode does not turn-off the ABS completely as the name might suggest. It only reduces ABS intervention to a minimum.

What Remains The Same?

The bike’s engine and underpinnings have remained the same. The Bajaj Dominar 250 is still powered by the same 248.77cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder motor which produces 27PS and 23.5Nm.

The bike is suspended on an inverted fork and a monoshock. The bike rolls on a 17-inch alloy wheel setup at both ends, with tubeless tyres. Braking setup consists of a 300mm front and 230mm rear disc brake with dual-channel ABS.

Price And Verdict

According to our dealership sources, the 2025 Dominar 250 costs Rs 1,93,654 (ex-showroom Pune), making it Rs 7,158 more than the 2024 model. While the premium is fair, Bajaj makes up with several new features that are useful enough to enhance the overall riding experience.

It is also the only 250cc performance-oriented cruiser in India, and now with the updates, becomes much more wholesome. There are no direct rivals, but the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 comes close if you want an affordable cruiser.
