From a new cruiser and ADV to a lot more, here’s everything that we saw this week.

This week was quite exciting for us bike enthusiasts, as we saw some exciting launches and some new updates revealed. We got a glimpse of what to expect from an upcoming platform, and a lot more. Here’s a brief overview of everything we saw this week:

2025 Suzuki Avenis Standard Variant Launched

Suzuki India has launched the 2025 Suzuki Avenis 125 standard variant in India. The new variant is now OBD-2B compliant, which should help in better motoring of emissions via new onboard sensors. It remains unchanged in terms of design and is positioned below the Avenis Base and Avenis Special Edition variants. This has made it the most affordable Suzuki Avenis 125 variant in the market today.

Honda Rebel 500 Launched

Honda India launched the Rebel 500, a modern cruiser from their 500cc lineup. It features a modern design, and is powered by a 471cc, liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine. The motor outputs 46.2PS at 8,500rpm and 43.3Nm at 6,000rpm. The bike is positioned as a Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 rival, but in terms of pricing it is a lot more expensive

2025 Kawasaki Versys-X 300 Launched

Kawasaki India also gave us a big surprise this week, and launched the 2025 Versys-X 300. The bike is a road-biased ADV, mostly suited for touring. The bike is powered by a 296cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine which outputs 40PS at 11,500rpm and 25.7Nm at 10,000rpm. It features a typical road-biased ADV design, with the tall wind-screen, muscular fairing and thick looking seat. Compared to earlier back when the bike was still offered, the price has been reduced greatly thanks to localization. But compared to its rivals, the Versys-X 300 is slightly towards the expensive side.

Royal Enfield New 250cc Platform Details Revealed

This week we also got to see some interesting details about the upcoming Royal Enfield 250cc platform. Bikes in this range will be positioned below the Royal Enfield’s 350cc J-series, and could be the cheapest Royal Enfield bikes yet. We got to know that Royal Enfield will be collaborating with Chinese bikemaker, CFMoto to develop these engines. The engines will use hybrid technology to increase the mileage, and the bikes could offer a mileage of up to 50kmpl!

2025 KTM RC 200 New Colour

KTM India has updated the RC 200 with a new grey colour scheme. The colour scheme is called ‘Metallic Grey’ and is more of a middle-ground between the currently offered Black and Blue shade. The colour is a bit more subtle than the Blue one and also slightly more flashy than the Black shade. Even with the new update, the bike’s price has remained unchanged.
