Upcoming Scooter Launches in India 2025 From Honda, TVS, Bajaj and More TechTricks365

The Indian scooter market is gearing up for an exciting second half of 2025. Both petrol-powered and electric scooters are set to arrive from major manufacturers like Honda, Yamaha, TVS, Suzuki, and Bajaj. After an interesting start to the year, more upgrades and new models are expected to launch soon, offering better features, style, and performance for Indian riders.

Honda

Starting with Honda, the brand is likely to give its popular Activa scooter a fresh update. Although it got a TFT console earlier this year, the Activa still lacks features like LED indicators, LED tail light, and a front disc brake. These updates could arrive around the festive season. However, the new version may not be named Activa 7G, as Honda dropped the “G” tag after the 6G. The expected price could be around Rs 80,000 (ex-showroom), making it a solid upgrade for Activa fans.

TVS

TVS is also preparing for a big launch. The company may introduce a more powerful version of its popular Ntorq scooter. This new scooter is expected to fall in the 150-160cc segment and could be called the Ntorq 150. It is likely to share design elements with the Ntorq 125, but with a bigger engine for better performance. The expected launch could take place in October 2025, with a possible price of around Rs 1.4 lakh (ex-showroom). Once launched, it will compete with the Yamaha Aerox 155, Aprilia SXR 160, and the upcoming Hero Xoom 160.

Suzuki

Suzuki Upcoming Scooters
Moving to Suzuki, the brand is set to launch the e-Access, an electric version of its bestselling petrol scooter. First showcased at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, the e-Access features a 4.1kW motor and a 3.1kWh battery pack. It comes with 12-inch alloy wheels, a front disc brake, and a rear drum brake. Suzuki also promises a range of convenience features to make daily commuting easier. The expected launch is by the end of June 2025, with a price of about Rs 1.1 lakh (ex-showroom).

Yamaha

Yamaha also has exciting plans for Indian buyers. The brand is expected to launch the N-Max 155, a premium maxiscooter that was showcased at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. It comes with full LED lighting, a tall front visor, and a stylish fairing. The scooter is based on the Yamaha Aerox 155 and uses the same liquid-cooled engine and chassis. With a 14-inch wheel setup and modern features like smartphone connectivity, the N-Max 155 could be priced at around Rs 1.4 lakh (ex-showroom). Moreover, it is likely to arrive by the end of the year.

Bajaj

Bajaj Upcoming scooters
Finally, Bajaj is planning to upgrade its most popular EV, the Chetak 2903. The new version is expected to launch in June 2025 with several improvements. Inspired by the higher-end Chetak 35 series, it may offer a larger 35-litre underseat storage space and a floor-mounted battery pack for better balance. Bajaj could also introduce a bigger battery with improved range in this version. Furthermore, the expected price of the updated Chetak 2903 is around Rs 1.10 lakh (ex-showroom).
