From a supernaked bike to a family electric scooter
A lot of exciting launches are just around the corner. We have compiled a list of all the bikes and scooters that could be launched in the India in May:
2025 Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z:
A new iteration of the Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z is expected to be launched in India this month. It will get a wider 150-section Apollo Alpha H1 rear tyre, which should address the grip issues the current model has. It is also expected with sintered brake pads, for better stopping power. The 2025 Pulsar NS400Z is expected to cost around Rs 1.92 lakh ex-showroom (about Rs 7,000 more) and with that it will still be the most affordable bike that produces 40PS.
2025 Kawasaki Z900
The 2025 Kawasaki Z900’s design was patented in India last month, indicating that the bike could be launched soon in India. The patented model has sharp body lines giving it an aggressive look – quite similar to the more powerful Z H2. The bike is still powered by the 948cc, liquid-cooled, four-cylinder engine but it now produces 124PS and 97.4Nm (1PS and 1.2Nm less than before). The bike is equipped with ride-by-wire, traction control, dual-channel ABS, cruise control, bidirectional quickshifter, and a new TFT console with Bluetooth connectivity. The 2025 Kawasaki Z900 is expected to be priced around 9.9 lakh (ex-showroom).
Triumph Scrambler 400XC
The Triumph Scrambler 400XC is a more offroad-focused version of the Scrambler 400X. It was spotted testing a few weeks ago. The bike gets tubeless spoked wheels and comes with bright colour schemes. Its standard kit will include a raised front fender, bashplate, crash guards and a coloured wind screen too, all of which is optional on the X. The upcoming bike, with its upgraded equipment, is expected to be priced at around Rs 2.85 lakh, which is about Rs 18,000 more than the X. .
2025 Bajaj Dominar Range
The 2025 Bajaj Dominar range was recently spotted at the dealerships with new instrument console (from the Pulsar NS400Z), and feature updates. The Dominar 400 is now equipped with a ride-by-wire throttle and gets four riding modes. The bike will have smartphone connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, and a charging port on the fuel tank too (which replaces the secondary display). The Dominar 250 has the new instrument console, same as the one on the NS200 and comes with ABS modes for better safety. The bikes are expected to be priced Rs 5,000 to Rs 7,000 more than the current iterations. .
2025 Yezdi Adventure
The 2025 Yezdi adventure was spotted testing on the Indian roads a couple of days ago. Although there are no significant changes to the design, we think the bike could get new colour schemes. It will definitely have an OBD-2B compliant engine, but could be tuned for more refinement. For these updates, we expect a price hike of Rs 3,000 over the current ex-showroom price of Rs 2.09 lakh.
Hero Vida Z
The Hero Vida Z is an upcoming electric scooter which is expected to be more family focused. The scooter was unveiled at EICMA 2024, and gets a subtle, elegant and minimalist design along with a spacious floorboard and a pillion back rest. It is expected to have modern safety features like anti-theft and geo-fencing. The Vida Z is expected to be priced at around Rs 1,00,000 (ex-showroom) and will rival the Ather Rizta.
2025 Benelli TRK 502
The Benelli TRK 502 has been one of the popular motorcycles in the 500cc segment from the brand and is all-set to get some feature updates. The bike is expected to launch soon in a couple of days and will now get a TFT display and tubeless spoked wheels. As per the info we have received, the 2025 Benelli TRK 502’s prices start at Rs 6.20 lakh, that’s a significant price hike of Rs 40,000 on its ex-showroom price over the previous model – Rs 5.85 lakh.
