Ultraviolette Automotive has launched India’s first electric dual-sport motorcycle, Shockwave Enduro, at Rs 1,75,000 (ex-sh). However, the brand is offering it at an introductory price of Rs 1,49,999 (ex-sh) for its first 1,000 customers. The bookings are open now and you can book this bike through the brand’s official website by paying Rs 999. Ultraviolette Shockwave Enduro Battery and Range
The Shockwave is powered by a 4kWh battery and an electric motor with 14.5 bhp. With a full charge, the bike has an amazing IDC range of 165 kilometres. Additionally, it can sprint from 0 to 60 km/h in 2.9 seconds. With a kerb weight of 120kg and a maximum torque of 505Nm, the motor guarantees an exciting and energetic ride. Furthermore, the maximum speed the bike can achieve is 120 km/h.
Ultraviolette Shockwave Enduro Features & Specs
The Shockwave bike has six degrees of dynamic regeneration, switchable dual-channel ABS, and four traction modes for improved performance. It comes with 90/90 R19 and 110/90 R17 dual-purpose tyres and rides on 19/17-inch wire spoke wheels.
There are presently five platforms available for Ultraviolette. Sportbikes belong on the “F” platform, scooters on the “S” platform, and lightweight bikes on the “L” platform. Two other platforms, “X” and “B,” are also available; they will be used for models that have not launched yet.
Ultraviolette Shockwave Enduro Design
The new Shockwave is built on a lightweight frame made especially for off-road and roadster motorcycles. The Shockwave is a street-legal off-road bike that can be used on both rough and urban terrain. Additionally, Cosmic Black and Frost White are the two colour options for the bike.
