The TVS X, an electric scooter, was launched in August 2023. Now, over two years later, the flagship e-scooter is finally being delivered to customers and Bangalore is the first city to receive delivery of the first units. Additionally, the following phase will see the start of deliveries in four additional cities. The flagship electric scooter from TVS X costs Rs 2.50 lakh (ex-showroom). Check the full details below.
TVS X: Battery and Range
The TVS X has a 140 km range and runs on a 4.44 kWh battery pack. It provides 9.38 BHP of continuous power to a permanent magnet mid-drive motor that is cooled by ram air. Additionally, there are three riding modes available: Xtealth, Xtride, and Xonic. TVS states that the X can reach a peak speed of 105 km/h and sprint from 0 to 60 km/h in 4.5 seconds.
TVS X: Specifications and Features
The company’s revolutionary ‘Xleton’ architecture serves as the foundation for the TVS X. The Creon concept that was displayed at the 2018 Auto Expo served as the inspiration for its design. Additionally, the sleek, dual-tone exterior, stepped seat, and 10.25-inch touchscreen instrument dashboard give it a maxi-scooter appearance.
For improved suspension, the e-scooter features a telescopic fork up front. It has an offset monoshock and a single-sided swingarm in the back. To offer a solid ride, this electric scooter has 12-inch alloy wheels. Moreover, it sports a 195 mm rear disc and a 220 mm front disc for braking. Additional safety is offered by a single-channel ABS system.
