TVS Motor Company has launched the 2025 Jupiter 110 scooter. Priced at Rs 76,691 (ex-showroom) and onwards, it sports an OBD-2B compliant engine. It comes in sync with the new emission norms, making the scooter even greener and performing better.
The prices of the Jupiter 110 are now Rs 2,000 higher than the older models. It comes in four variants:
TVS Jupiter 110 has competition from the 110cc scooter section. Its toughest competition comes in the form of Honda Activa and Hero Pleasure Plus X-Tec.
Engine and Performance
The Jupiter 110 continues to use its 113.3cc single-cylinder engine, which produces 7.91 hp and 9.8 Nm of torque. Even with the new compliance, these figures do not change. The engine is mated to a CVT automatic gearbox. Additionally, the scooter has a top speed of 82 Kmph and mileage of 62 kmpl, which is perfect for daily usage.
Understanding OBD-2B Compliance
On-Board Diagnostics (OBD) systems track the performance of the vehicle. The OBD-2B standard implements sophisticated sensors and monitoring. The sensors record real-time data on throttle response, air-fuel ratio, engine temperature, fuel level, and speed. The Engine Control Unit (ECU) processes the data to provide optimal performance and emissions reduction. This compliance increases the environmental-friendliness and efficiency of the Jupiter 110.
Enhanced Features
The new Jupiter 110 features contemporary design. It has a colour-LCD instrument cluster with Bluetooth. This supports turn-by-turn directions and call and SMS notification. The scooter also supports the TVS SmartXonnect smartphone app with voice assist and “Find me” functionality. It also has an all-LED lighting system with built-in turn signals and a “Follow me” headlight that provides better safety and fashion.
