TVS Motor is planning to expand its motorcycle lineup in India. The company may soon enter the Supermoto segment. At the 2025 Auto Expo, TVS showcased a new Supermoto bike called Apache RTS X. This concept model received a lot of attention for its bold design, and now, the design has been patented in India. Read the full news here.

Is TVS Apache RTS X Coming Soon?

When a company patents a design, it may mean a launch is possible; however, sometimes, companies also patent concept models. TVS has patented the concept version of Apache RTS X, not the final model. Still, it shows the company’s interest in Supermoto bikes, although TVS is known for racing and stunts, so a Supermoto fits well.

Design and Features

Apache RTS X looks like a bike from a video game or sci-fi movie. It has a sharp front and upright handlebars. The fuel tank is large with strong tank shrouds on the sides. Moreover, the riding position is high and comfortable.

This concept bike has a keyless system with a red start button on the tank. It also features a digital screen for all riding data. The rear subframe has built-in tail lights and a stylish exhaust. It also has a mono-shock at the back and a strong swingarm.

High-Performance Engine and Specs

The Apache RTS X runs on a 299cc liquid-cooled engine. It is a single-cylinder engine with four valves. This engine makes 35 bhp of power and 28.5 Nm torque. It is paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The concept bike weighs only 144 kg. It can go from 0 to 60 km/h in 2.8 seconds and can touch 100 km/h in 6.3 seconds.

Apache RTS X might get 17-inch wheels with wide tyres. The front suspension uses USD forks with long travel. These forks may be fully adjustable for better ride control. High ground clearance makes it ready for rough roads and stunts.
