Triumph Unveils TF 250-E and TF 450-E Enduro Bikes TechTricks365

Triumph Motorcycles officially unveiled its new enduro motorbikes, TF 250-E and TF 450-E. The motorbikes represent the British company’s debut in the Enduro World Championship. Featuring lightweight aluminum frames, strong engines, and high-quality components, Triumph plans to compete with major players. The motorbikes are road-legal in the UK and the European continent.

Triumph will begin taking bookings for the TF 250-E and TF 450-E in the UK shortly. The TF 250-E is likely to cost about Rs. 10.50 lakh, and the TF 450-E will be priced at Rs. 11.50 lakh. In the US, the 250cc model begins at just under $10,000. Both of these models will be available in Triumph showrooms by the summer of 2025. Here’s a closer look at what they are all about.

Powerful and Lightweight Machines

Both motorcycles are off-road racing and adventure-bike oriented. The TF 250-E is fitted with a 249.9cc single-cylinder engine that churns out 41.7 bhp and 27.8 Nm torque. It runs at 12,800 rpm, providing great power for challenging trails. The TF 450-E, however, features a 449.9cc engine that generates 57.8 bhp and 49.3 Nm torque. The motorcycles feature a 6-speed gearbox for smooth power delivery.

Built for Performance and Comfort

Triumph has employed high-quality materials to make these bikes lightweight but robust. Both motorcycles utilise an aluminium frame with a spine frame design, which ensures better handling and stability on uneven terrain. The suspension system is acquired from KYB, and both the front has fully adjustable 48mm forks while the rear suspension is three-way adjustable. This arrangement gives a smooth ride, even on demanding surfaces.

Off-road riding requires the utmost care for braking and grip. Triumph has fitted these motorcycles with a Galfer braking system. The front is equipped with a 260mm disc and twin 24mm pistons, while the rear has a 220mm disc and a 26mm floating caliper. Both motorcycles also receive Michelin Enduro 2 tyres (21-inch front and 18-inch rear), which can easily traverse varied terrain.

Modern Features and Road-Legal Design

Triumph has incorporated new technology to further improve the riding experience. Both motorcycles feature a digital console that shows real-time information, such as engine temperature, trip information, and gear position. Riders can access this via illuminated handlebar-mounted controls. Additionally, all-around LED lighting enhances low-light visibility. The bikes are road-legal in the UK and Europe but can also be converted for closed-course competition.

What’s Next for Triumph?

Triumph has entered the off-road racing scene strongly with these enduro bikes. The company had previously found success in motocross with the TF 250-X, which earned podium positions in global races. With the TF 250-E and TF 450-E, Triumph is poised to compete in enduro championships.

Numerous enthusiasts are interested in knowing if Triumph will release a street-legal dual-sport motorcycle soon. Though no official word has been given, Triumph has indicated that it will further develop its off-road line.
