The Gold Wing is powered by a liquid-cooled, flat-six engine that makes a maximum power output of 124.7PS at 5,500rpm and 170Nm at 4,500rpm. It is paired with a 7-speed forward and reverse dual-clutch transmission (DCT).
4. Harley-Davidson Fat Bob & Fat Boy – 1,868cc
The Harley-Davidson Milwaukee-Eight 114 is the second biggest engine in the Milwaukee engine series. The Harley-Davidson Fat Bob and Fat Boy are powered by the 1,868cc Milwaukee-Eight 114 V-twin engine that produces a peak output of 93PS at 5,020rpm and 155Nm at 3,500rpm on the Fat Bob and 94PS on the Fat Boy. It is mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
Both the Harley Davidson Fat Bob and Fat Boy are available in India. Harley sells the Fat Bob at a starting price of Rs 21,49,000 and the Fat Boy at a starting price of Rs 25,69,000 (both-ex-showroom).
3. Indian Chief Dark Horse – 1,890cc
The Indian Chief Dark Horse has the biggest capacity engine from the American manufacturer. The 1,890cc Thunderstroke 116 V-twin engine powers a few other Indian power cruisers and touring bikes as well. It delivers a maximum output of 122PS and 156Nm at 3,300rpm. It is paired with a 6-speed gearbox and also has reverse gear. The Indian Chief Dark Horse is also available in India, starting at Rs 22,13,399 (ex-showroom).
2. Harley-Davidson Street Glide & Road Glide: 1,923cc
The Harley-Davidson Street Glide and Road Glide are powerful touring bikes from the American manufacturer. Both bikes are powered by the largest engine ever produced by Harley-Davidson – the 1,923cc Milwaukee-Eight 117 V-twin. The engine produces 107PS at 5,020rpm and 175Nm at 3,500rpm. The Milwaukee-Eight 117 is paired to a 6-speed gearbox as well.
The Harley-Davison Street Glide is available in India at a starting price of Rs 38,79,000 and the Road Glide is priced from Rs 41,79,000 (both prices ex-showroom).
1. Triumph Rocket 3 – 2,458cc
The Triumph Rocket 3 is the biggest production motorcycle in the world. It is available in both roadster and cruiser avatars. The bike has a huge 2,458cc, liquid-cooled inline three-cylinder engine that makes a peak power of 182PS at 7,000rpm and a peak torque of 225Nm at 4,000rpm. It is paired with a 6-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch as standard. The Rocket 3 does not have a chain or a belt but is shaft-driven.
The bike is currently on sale in India as well, and you can buy both the Rocket 3 Storm R (roadster) and the Rocket 3 Storm GT (cruiser) for Rs 21,99,000 and Rs 22,59,000 (ex-showroom), respectively.
All these bikes including many other CBUs (completely-built units) are likely to get significant price reductions as the Government Of India has reduced import duty on premium bikes in the Budget 2025.
