The Honda Activa has been crowned as the best-seller again

The Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) has released its two-wheeler sales data for the month of February 2025. With scooters being one of the most popular modes of transportation in India, here’s a look at the top 5 best-selling scooters of February 2025:

Honda Activa

February 2025: 1,74,009 units sold
January 2025: 1,66,739units sold
February 2024: 2,00,134 units sold

The Activa has been on sale in India for over two decades. It has gathered a loyal following over the years and continues to sell in massive numbers. The Honda Activa sold 1,74,009 units in the month of February 2025, with a 4.1% increase in its MoM (Month-On-Month) sales figures while a decline of 15.01% was seen in its YoY (Year-On-Year) sales.

The Honda Activa, to compete with more modern scooters, was recently updated with an OBD-2B compliant engine, fully digital instrument cluster with smartphone connectivity and safety features too. The scooter has more or less stayed the same for sometime now, which could be one of the factors for the slight decline in its recent sales numbers. But the Activa is still the best-selling scooter in the country by a mile, suggesting that its appeal is there to stay for quite some time.

The TVS Ntorq 125 has seen a 11.77% decline in its MoM sales figures, while the YoY sales have also been on a downfall with 15.73% decrease when compared to February 2024.
