For a shooter releasing in 2025, the system memory and GPU options listed are very accessible, but with no performance targets to offer further context, we have some concerns about what the gameplay experience will be like with this hardware.
While you won’t need to buy the best graphics card to meet the recommended specs for Escape From Tarkov Arena, it’s the minimum tier that has us raising our eyebrows. Early access is a likely contributor to these specs reading a little weird, and the lack of any expected frame rate or resolutions being listed isn’t helping either.

You’ll need an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 or AMD Radeon RX 560 paired with an Intel Core i5 4590 or AMD Ryzen 3 1200. You’ll also only need 8GB of RAM, a surprisingly low figure given modern games are leaning towards 16GB as the new standard.
It’s highly advised that you upgrade to the best gaming RAM, ideally in at least a 16GB dual-channel setup, to avoid being left behind by the system requirements of new games. Thankfully, this upgrade is one of the cheapest and easiest you can make.
While it’s still common to see Nvidia Pascal GPUs at this tier, I would have expected a GTX 1080 or even a jump to the Turing architecture and the GTX 1660 as the launching point. Even then, the performance targets are likely still to be 720p@30fps on the lowest graphical preset.
As for the Escape From Tarkov Arena recommended specs, these are a little more in line with what is expected. You’ll need an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 Super or AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT paired with an Intel Core i5 10400F or AMD Ryzen 5 5600. The RAM requirement also doubles here to 16GB.
While no performance targets are provided for the recommended tier either, we anticipate that the above specs should be good enough for 1080p@60fps on the high graphical preset.
The Escape From Tarkov Arena download size is a reasonable 40GB, but you’re going to need one of the best SSDs for gaming as specified at both requirement tiers.
