Suzuki Launches 2025 V-Strom 800DE in India With New Colours TechTricks365

Suzuki has introduced the 2025 V-Strom 800DE in India. The adventure motorcycle now meets the latest OBD-2B emission norms, which makes it future-ready. Along with that, Suzuki has added three new colour options to refresh its look.

The motorcycle is now priced at Rs 10.30 lakh (ex-showroom). However, the updated styling and feature-packed nature keep it a strong contender in the middleweight adventure segment. Let’s explore what’s new and what stays the same.

Fresh Colours Give the Bike a New Look

The biggest visual update on the 2025 V-Strom 800DE is the addition of new colours. Suzuki has introduced Pearl Tech White, Champion Yellow No.2, and Glass Sparkle Black. The Pearl Tech White variant comes with blue spoke wheels that add a sporty touch.

Moreover, the Champion Yellow No.2, a colour closely linked with Suzuki’s rally heritage, now features black panels and blue wheels instead of the older golden ones. Additionally, the Glass Sparkle Black option features black wheels paired with subtle grey and red graphics. These changes make the motorcycle feel more modern and appealing without altering its core design.

Power and Performance Remain the Same

Suzuki has not made any changes to the engine or performance. The V-Strom 800DE continues to be powered by a 776cc parallel-twin engine. It produces 84.3 PS at 8,500 rpm and 78 Nm of peak torque at 6,800 rpm. This engine uses a 270-degree crankshaft, which gives it a nice V-twin-like rumble and a smooth delivery of power.

The six-speed gearbox works with a slipper clutch and a bi-directional quickshifter. The motorcycle is built on a strong steel frame, and the suspension setup includes Showa upside-down forks at the front and a Showa monoshock at the rear.

Both ends offer a long 220mm of travel, which, along with a ground clearance of 220mm, makes the bike ready for serious off-road use. It rolls on a 21-inch front wheel and a 17-inch rear wheel, fitted with block-pattern Dunlop tyres.

Still Loaded With Touring-Friendly Features

Although there are no major feature upgrades, the V-Strom 800DE continues to offer everything an adventure rider might need. It gets a 5-inch TFT display that shows all riding information clearly and adapts to day or night.

The Suzuki bike comes with full LED lighting, a USB charging port, and a manually adjustable windscreen with three height levels. Suzuki’s Intelligent Ride System is still present, offering three riding modes and two levels of traction control.

There’s also a Gravel mode that helps on loose surfaces. Riders also benefit from ride-by-wire throttle response, a quickshifter for up and down shifts, and a low RPM assist that prevents the engine from stalling at low speeds. These features make the bike very friendly for both touring and off-roading.
