Suzuki Hayabusa Breaks Sales Record with 511 Units in FY2025 TechTricks365

Suzuki Hayabusa has made a huge mark in India once again. In FY2025, it recorded its best-ever sales in the country. A total of 511 units were sold, which is the highest in any fiscal year. This is a 71% jump from the 298 units sold in FY2024. Let’s know more about this achievement.

Hayabusa Continues to Lead Big Bike Segment

The Suzuki Hayabusa now leads its segment with 57% share. This is a 10% rise from FY2024. Moreover, no other superbike in the 1,000 – 1,600cc class came close in sales. Triumph’s three models sold 208 units combined. Harley-Davidson’s big bikes together sold only 119 units.

Meanwhile, Kawasaki’s 998cc Ninja range sold just 61 units. Clearly, the Hayabusa has become India’s top superbike choice.

Suzuki first sold the Hayabusa as a fully imported unit (CBU). Since 2021, it has been assembled locally at Suzuki’s Gurugram plant. This change helped reduce costs and improve availability. Now, it is priced at Rs 16.90 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Furthermore, it is available at select Suzuki big bike dealerships across India. Local assembly has made the bike more popular and accessible.

Power, Design, and Tech Make the ‘Busa a Hit

The Hayabusa’s 1,340cc engine makes 187 hp and 142 Nm of torque. It gets a 6-speed gearbox with quick-shifter and slip-assist clutch. Moreover, the top speed goes beyond 300 kmph. It weighs 266 kg and has a seat height of 800 mm.

The design is sporty, with three dual-tone colour options. The superbike also comes packed with modern features. It has traction control, launch control, and power modes. Furthermore, it gets a six-axis IMU for better stability and control.
