Is Stellar Blade coming to PC?
Stellar Blade is coming to PC in June 2025. This was confirmed by developer Shift Up in a trailer during a State of Play.
The Stellar Blade x Goddess of Victory Nikke DLC announcement trailer ended with a surprise splash screen that stated “coming to PC with additional contents in June 2025.” This content is likely the aforementioned DLC, though the Stellar Blade Steam page also promises further language options and optimization.
The Stellar Blade PC 2025 release window was confirmed in Shift Up’s Q3 financial report. It also cites Black Myth Wukong as an action game that has achieved success on Steam, and is aiming to replicate those results to outpace Stellar Blade’s commercial performance on consoles.
Shift Up addressed the PC version of Stellar Blade directly during its Q4 performance report Q&A. “PC devices have a higher market share than console devices in the AAA game market, so we expect the PC version to perform better than consoles,” it said.
Following extensive market research into console exclusives that have come to PC, Shift Up also suggested that Stellar Blade’s PC release might be Steam Deck compatible: “We plan to release [Shift Up games] after optimization to the point where they can be played smoothly in the UMPC (Steam Deck) environment.”
Shift Up first revealed that a PC port was in consideration during an IPO press conference held in June 2024, but could not confirm its release due to its “contractual relationship.” This was remedied in August 2024 in a Q&A with investors. “We are preparing for its release on PC in the near future,” Shift Up stated in its Q2 fact sheet.
