The bike now has switchable ABS
Royal Enfield launched the Scram 440 in India recently. The scrambler now gets a variety of updates including alloy wheels with tubeless tyres and switchable ABS.
Here’s an overview of all the features the bike gets:
The Royal Enfield Scram 440 is now equipped with switchable ABS at the rear, compared to the Scram 411. The Scram 440 now allows the rider to completely turn-off the rear ABS for a better control of the bike while offroading. This feature is very useful in bikes of this format (i.e. scramblers). This feature will be appreciated a lot by skilled off-road riders.
The RE Scram 440 now borrows its instrument console from the Hunter 350. The Scram now gets a semi-digital instrument console with digital readings of the odometer, trip meter, gear position indicator and the fuel gauge. The RE Scram 440 also gets a tripper navigation pod as well, as an accessory, that enables smartphone connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation and call and SMS alerts through the Royal Enfield app. It also gets an all-LED lighting setup to give the bike a more modern touch. The Scram 440 gets alloy wheels with tubeless tyres in the Force variant, which reduces the worry of punctures.
