Engine Performance
Royal Enfield Hunter 350 is equipped with a 349.34cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine. It delivers 15 kW power and 27 Nm torque. The Jawa 350, on the other hand, features a 334cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. It delivers 22.26 bhp power and 28.1 Nm torque.
Evidently, the Jawa 350 is a bit more powerful and has better torque. The Hunter 350, however, offers a smoother and more refined riding experience. The Hunter 350 features a five-speed gearbox, as does the Jawa 350.
Hardware
Both motorcycles have sturdy chassis and cushioned suspension. The Royal Enfield Hunter 350 has telescopic front forks, offering good stability. The Jawa 350 also features telescopic front forks, which deliver a smooth ride. In the rear section, both motorcycles feature dual shock absorbers for improved comfort. For braking, both wheels have disc brakes.
The Hunter 350 features dual-channel ABS, and the Jawa 350 also comes with dual-channel ABS. This provides improved safety and control while braking. The Hunter 350 is also lighter by a small margin, making it more convenient to handle.
Features & Technology
Both motorcycles have modern features to appeal to vintage bike enthusiasts. The Royal Enfield Hunter 350 has a semi-digital instrument cluster, which displays information such as speed, fuel level, and trip information. The Jawa 350 features a more retro analogue instrument cluster, which appears vintage. The Hunter 350 also features an LED tail lamp, whereas the Jawa 350 features a halogen setup.
However, the Jawa 350 has liquid cooling, making the engine more efficient on long drives. The Hunter 350 is more efficient with a mileage of 36 kmpl. Meanwhile, the Jawa 350 comes with a mileage of 30 Kmpl.
