Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 India Launch Likely In 2025, ADV Teased Officially | BikeDekho TechTricks365

The Himalayan 750 is coming sooner than you think!

Quick Highlights:

  • Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 officially teased

  • The bike looks like it’s production-ready

  • Expected to launch in India by the end of this year itself, possibly at Motoverse 2025

Royal Enfield has officially teased the biggest and the baddest Himalayan, the Himalayan 750, on its social media handles, and the bike looks like it’s ready to hit the roads. The bike has been spied multiple times, but it’s the first time Royal Enfield has teased it officially, with the brand’s head honchos testing out the bike in the Himalayas. It looks pretty production-ready, hinting at a launch this year.

Ready For Ladakh

When we compare it to the version that was spied abroad, the current version of the Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 spied here looks like it’s ready to be launched. This is evident in the neatly packed brake cables just above the front mudguard and the rear brake cable as well. The most prominent change is that of the windshield. Gone is the large windshield, and in its place comes a smaller but more visually pleasing unit.

Apart from these changes, the bike remains unchanged. It continues to get the same engine as the Interceptor 650, but will likely be bored out to 750cc to make more power and torque. This will not only allow the upcoming Himalayan to be more powerful than the Himalayan 450 but will also allow the bigger ADV to sit in a category of its own.

Expected to make around 55PS and 60Nm, the upcoming Himalayan will be a more road-oriented adventure bike as compared to its younger sibling. This will be due to the 19/17-inch spoked wheel setup. Although it’s not certain whether it will be a tubeless spoked wheel setup, we sure hope so. The bike will also be considerably heavier than the Himalayan 450 due to the bigger engine and a new, more robust chassis. To allow the heavier ADV to stop, the bigger Himalayan comes with dual discs at the front, and a disc at the rear, obviously with dual-channel (most likely switchable) ABS.

Coming Sooner Than You Think!

Now that it has been officially teased, expect the Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 to debut in the final production spec at the 2025 EICMA show in Milan, Italy, and also at the 2025 Motoverse in Goa, India. The bike is expected to be launched in around November 2025 in India, and could be priced at Rs 4.5 lakh (ex-showroom). Once launched, the Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 will go against the likes of Kawasaki Versys 650, Moto Morini X-Cape 650 and the Honda NX500 in India.
