Ormotors France has built a special custom version of the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, named the Hima 450. This motorcycle is designed for extreme off-road conditions and features several performance upgrades.
It has been modified for the upcoming Dust Trail off-road event in Portugal, where it will compete against bikes like the Honda Dominator and Suzuki DR 350. The motorcycle gets better suspension, lighter weight, and improved power. Let’s explore the changes and features of this rally-ready beast.
Hima 450: A Rally-Ready Beast
The Hima 450 is differentiated by its red panels, white graphics, and golden wheels. The high front tower and red Acerbis fuel tank accentuate its muscular, rally-bred appearance. The fuel tank can carry 23 litres of petrol, which gives the bike a massive 700km range.
To deal with harsh terrains, Ormotors has fitted an Acerbis bash plate and fork guards. Additionally, the motorcycle features a beak-style front fender, thin tail section, and long single-piece seat for improved off-road capability.
The performance-tuned Hima 450 is lighter and more powerful than the standard Himalayan 450. It includes a PowerTRONIC FuelX Pro fuel injection optimiser to deliver strong power. It also receives a DNA air filter and a full HP Corse exhaust for enhanced engine performance.
To have more comfortable rides over bumpy trails, the front forks receive an upgrade to Andreani cartridges with 30mm more suspension travel. The rear monoshock is replaced with an EMC shock to enhance the bike’s handling.
Built for the Dust Trail Off-Road Event
The Hima 450 is specially designed for Portugal’s Dust Trail event, to be held in April 2025. This rally will try the bike out on its toughness, power, and handling.
Even though this custom edition will not make it to India, it displays the customisation potential of the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450. The Hima 450’s power-packed upgrades have turned it into a real adventure machine capable of tackling any type of terrain.
