Recently, Renegade Game Studios held their summer Renegade Con livestream. In this summer event, the tabletop studio announced several new supplements coming to both World of Darkness and Essence20 RPG lines. They also announced retail pre-orders for Kids in Capes.
The June 2025 Renegade Con Livestream
In a series of livestreams, archived on their official YouTube channel, the June Renegade Con livestream revealed several upcoming tabletop projects and supplements. Some of these livestreams were dedicated to developments in organized play for Axis & Allies and showcased character creation for the latest Essence20 TTRPG, an adaptation of the surreal comedy podcast Welcome to Night Vale.
Notably, the livestream featured two new supplements set to arrive in the World of Darkness franchise. One for Werewolf: The Apocalypse, the other for Vampire: The Masquerade.
The Werewolf supplement, The Moonlit Path, focuses on the spirit world. It introduces players to the secrets of the Umbra and the dangers of crossing into the spirit realm. But with the right know-how, passing into this world may provide new knowledge and skills to combat the machinations of the Wyrm.
Werewolf: The Apocalypse The Moonlit Path is the first major expansion of Gifts in the game.The book contains new Gifts, Talismans, Rites, Loresheets, new threats, and details on three new werewolf septs. The book is available for pre-order now at an MSRP of $50. It is scheduled to be released this October.
For those that want to delve further into urban horror, Vampire: The Masquerade Tattered Facade may have your attention. The supplement focuses on darkening the unlife of Kindred in the setting, introducing elements of Body Horror, Gothic Horror, Folk Horror, and even Cosmic Horror.
The supplement contains more than 25 new Discipline Powers, Rituals, Formulae, Ceremonies and Loresheets. It even contains a new mechanic where Kindred can make a bargain with their inner Beast to master even more Discipline Powers. Tattered Facade is available for pre-order at an MSRP of $50. It is scheduled to be released this November.
As for Essence20, the June Renegade Con livestream announced a new sourcebook for GI Joe, titled Hawk’s Personnel Files. This supplement is focused on bringing the Golden Age of GI Joe to the TTRPG, including both player options and pre-generated statblocks of iconic characters. If you have nostalgia for the original Larry Hama comic run or the Sunbow cartoon, the supplement is available for pre-order now. for $50.
Lastly, the livestream announced a retail release for Kids in Capes. It is a superhero spin-off of the award-winning TTRPG Kids on Bikes. After a successful Kickstarter campaign back in May, the TTRPG is now available for pre-order to those who missed out. Both the standard edition and the deluxe edition are available for $39.99 and $49.99 respectively.
