That’s one hell of a deal, considering that Zero Hour’s normal RRP is around $20, and that it’s been out of Steam Early Access for less than a year. The game boasts 18 maps and 5 game modes, including hostage rescue, bomb disposal and more, so you’re in no danger of getting bored.
And, while it’s built for online play, you can take Zero Hour offline and team up with bots, perfect for honing your SWAT skills. It’s rated Very Positive on Steam, with players praising its realism and the need for teamwork.
So what’s the catch? The game’s recent reviews have dipped to mixed, with some players complaining of bugs. The game’s dev team states it has gone through some internal changes which include “Bringing in new talents to the team to help push the game development and speed up some things.”
Hopefully the dev will get to squashing any bugs that remain. It’s got a healthy player base of 4000+ players so you shouldn’t have any problems getting into a match.
