An acclaimed PC shooter has been announced for the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S following fan requests, and it’ll be out pretty soon. Developer Void Interactive surprised fans with a reveal trailer for tactical SWAT shooter Ready or Not, which released on PC in December 2023.
First-person shooter Ready or Not out on PS5 this summer
Void Interactive has given console players a release window of summer 2025. Ready or Not — which has been lauded for its realism — will launch on the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S with full cross-play.
“Lead a team of highly-trained SWAT officers through unpredictable high-risk missions against ruthless criminals to prevent the city from spiralling into disorder,” reads an official description. “Equip real-world weapons and gear to tackle missions inspired by current events against Los Sueňos’ ruthless criminal element. Every decision, from squad selection to tactical breach and engagement, is the difference between life and death.”
Ready or Not can be wishlisted on the PS Store. At the time of this writing, Void Interactive has not announced PS5 Pro support, and has yet to confirm if the game’s Home Invasion and Dark Waters DLC packs will be bundled with the console release or not.
