Ola Electric has recently launched the Roadster X electric bike in India, and it is available in a total of three variants: 2.5kWh, 3.5kWh, and 4.5kWh. Here’s a breakdown of each variant’s details:

Shared Components

All variants of the Ola Roadster X are powered by the same 7kW mid-mounted motor. Suspension wise, the bike gets a telescopic fork and dual shock absorbers. Braking is managed by drum brakes at both ends, with single-channel ABS. The bike rides on an 18-inch front and a 17-inch rear alloy wheel with tubeless tyres, with a ground clearance of 180mm. Each variant comes with a 4.3-inch LCD instrument console that displays data like speed, battery level, and trip information. It gets features like Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, a reverse mode, and cruise control. All variants also include brake-by-wire, tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), over-the-air (OTA) updates, and an all LED lighting setup.

2.5kWh

The 2.5kWh variant is the most affordable, priced at Rs 74,999. It gets a 2.5kWh battery with a claimed IDC (Indian Driving Conditions) range of 140km on a single full charge. It has a 0 to 40kmph acceleration time of 3.4 seconds and has a top speed of 105kmph. This variant is good for short daily commutes and offers adequate performance at a budget-friendly price.

3.5kWh

The 3.5kWh is the middle variant, priced at Rs 84,999. It comes with a 3.5kWh battery and a claimed range of 196km. The performance is slightly better than the 2.5kWh variant, allowing it to reach 0 to 40kmph in 3.1 seconds and it has a top speed of 118kmph. This variant has a good balance between range and performance, making it a great option for daily commuters.

4.5kWh

The 4.5kWh variant is the top model and is priced at Rs 94,999. It has the largest battery at 4.5kWh and has a range of 252km. The 0 to 40kmph time is 3.1 seconds, and the top speed is 118kmph, same as the 3.5kWh variant. This variant is for those who have longer daily commutes or want to go on an occasional long ride, as it offers the highest range.
