Numeros made its debut in the Indian electric scooter market
At Bharat Mobility Expo 2025, Bengaluru based Numeros Motors launched the Diplos Max and unveiled the new Numeros Project 01. With the growing shift towards electric vehicles, Numeros is positioning itself as a key player in the EV space.
Diplos Max
The Diplos Max, Numeros Motors’ first electric scooter, made its debut at Auto Expo with a price tag of Rs 1,09,999 (ex-showroom). This electric scooter has been engineered with robustness, durability, and practicality in mind, offering a blend of performance, efficiency, and safety.
The Diplos Max has a 2.67kW hub-mounted permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) that delivers 138Nm of torque and a top speed of 63kmph. With a 3.7 kWh battery setup, made up of two 1.85 kWh lithium-ion battery packs, the Diplos Max offers an Indian Driving Cycle (IDC) claimed range of 140 km on a full charge. For those concerned about charging time, the Diplos Max can be fully charged from 0 to 100% in approximately 3 to 4 hours using a 1.2kW charger — a convenient option for daily charging at home.
The Max comes equipped with a telescopic fork, twin shock absorbers, 12-inch alloy wheels with wider tires, disc brakes at both ends, and 150mm of ground clearance. The scooter comes with an LCD instrument console that displays data such as speed, battery percentage, range, and more. The Max also features LED lighting, two riding modes (Eco and Normal), and a reverse mode.
Notably, Numeros has tested this electric scooter through rough terrains and various temperatures for more than 13.9 million kilometers even before its launch, the Diplos Max simply gets it done!
Project 01
Alongside the Diplos Max, Numeros also unveiled a new electric scooter, the Project 01. It is expected to be launched sometime soon.
It gets a 2kW mid-mounted PMSM motor with a chain drive transmission and a top speed of 55kmph. The Project 01 has two riding modes: Eco and Normal. It has a liquid-cooled lithium-ion battery pack with a capacity of 2.5kWh, a claimed IDC range of up to 103km depending on variant, and a charging time of 5 to 6 hours with a 480W charger. It will get three colour options: Traffic Red, Pure White, and Ice Blue.
Apart from the above mentioned specifications, the Project 01 gets regenerative braking, a reverse mode, a gradeability of 10 degrees, a kerb weight of 109kg, and a ground clearance of 150mm. Suspension wise, it gets a telescopic hydraulic fork and adjustable twin shock absorbers. It gets 16-inch alloy wheels with tubeless tyres at both ends. The scooter gets an IP67 rating as well for the battery, motor, and controller.
