Ravensburger has announced new details on Disney Lorcana Archazia’s Island. The latest set of the officially licensed collectible card game has had some details outlined, but this new preview includes new gameplay and lore cards.
The Disney Lorcana Archazia’s Island Preview
In an official press release, Ravensburger detailed new gameplay elements that will be introduced in Disney Lorcana Archazia’s Island. The press release does confirm the introduction of certain beloved Disney properties in the set such as Bolt and Encanto alongside older films like The Lady and the Tramp and The Aristocats.
As for gameplay additions, the set will introduce Dual-ink Cards. As the name implies, these cards will feature two ink colors, allowing for new gameplay combos and synergies. Dual-ink Cards can only be used in decks with the matching two ink colors.
For those interested in worldbuilding, Disney Lorcana Archazia’s Island will introduce Lore Cards. Starting with this set, story text will be added to the reverse side of puzzle cards to create new Lore Cards. Each booster pack will contain one of 20 randomized Lore Cards These will not impact playable card slots in these booster packs.
If players want the full story of the Disney Lorcana set, they will need to collect all 20 of these Lore Cards. In addition, the artwork on the puzzle sides can pieced together to form two larger art pieces.
Lastly, the press release did confirm pricing information for the Disney Lorcana Archazia’s Island set. Those details are as follows:
- The Single-Player Decks: Amethyst/Steel – Jafar & Iago and Ruby/Sapphire – Belle & Beast (MSRP $16.99)
- Booster Pack (MSRP $5.99)
- Illumineer’s Trove (MSRP $49.99)
- Lilo Gift Box: Contains five booster packs, and a glimmer foil promo card of “Lilo – Escape Artist” (MSRP $29.99)
- Tigger and Big Hero 6 Playmats (MSRP $19.99)
- Cinderella and Ursula Deck Boxes and Card Sleeves (MSRP $5.99 – $9.99)
Disney Lorcana Archazia’s Island will be available in local game stores, select retailers, and various Disney resorts on March 7, 2025. The set will release on mass market and online retailers March 21, 2025.
