Electronic Arts will reveal the next entry in the Battlefield series this summer, the company said in its fourth quarter and fiscal year 2025 financial results.
“The incredible success of College Football and the enduring strength of FC drove another record year for EA Sports, while The Sims capped [fiscal year] 25 with a historic [fourth quarter],” said Electronic Arts CEO Andrew Wilson in the results press release. “As we look to the future, we’re confident in our ability to execute across a deep pipeline—beginning this summer with the highly anticipated reveal of Battlefield, a pivotal step in delivering on our next generation of blockbuster entertainment.”
Back in February, Electronic Arts announced Battleifled Labs, an initiative to collaborate with the community and allow players to test concepts of future Battlefield experiences while providing feedback. Private play tests have already occurred, and community updates have been published focused on destruction, and gunplay and movement.
