The Minecraft Marketplace is awash with excellent blocky creations, and to celebrate May 4, it’s slapping a generous discount on some Star Wars-themed content packs. From character skins to iconic locations from the Star Wars movies and spinoffs like The Mandalorian, there’s plenty on offer. Plus, Mojang is giving away a free item while its Star Wars Day event is running.
While building your own experiences is at the heart of what makes Minecraft such a brilliant sandbox game, sometimes it’s just as fun to see what others have created – especially if they involve one of your favorite franchises. For a limited time, several Star Wars-themed packs are 33% off on the Minecraft Marketplace. All officially licensed, they’ll let you transform into dozens of beloved characters. There are Classic, Prequel, Sequel, and Rebels skin packs that feature the likes of Yoda, Darth Maul, C-3P0, Kylo Ren, and so many more.
There are also wider content packs that feature Minecraft skins, environments inspired by Star Wars locations, and even full on playable adventures. The Star Wars Mash-up, Path of the Jedi, and Solo: A Star Wars Story packs are all featured in this discount event.
However, if you’re not willing to part ways with any Minecoins, don’t fret, because everyone is getting a freebie. In the Dressing Room, you’ll find that an R2-D2 themed beanie hat has been added to your collection, letting you beep, boop, and brr to your heart’s content.
