Capcom will release a title update for MARVEL vs. CAPCOM Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics on April 16 that adds various new features, including a version select option for X-Men vs. Street Fighter, resolution option for Marvel vs. Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes, and offline versus play for all titles.
Here is the full update outline:
- X-Men vs. Street Fighter
- Version Select – Select which version to play for X-Men vs. Street Fighter. Chose between versions 960910, 961004, and 961023.
- Marvel vs. Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes
- Resolution Option – Change the resolution for Marvel vs. Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes. Increase graphics quality for smoother game visuals.
- General
- Offline Versus – Play Versus Mode in all fighting titles. Battle to your heart’s content!
- Menu Button Settings – Menus during online play can now be opened with a long press to avoid accidental inputs.
- Game Reset – Reset the game directly from the pause menu.
- New Artwork – View new artwork by Capcom artist Shinkiro.
- Bonus Tracks – Groove out to remixes of classic songs by CAP-JAMS from the Capcom Sound Team.
- “Theme of Captain America” arranged by CAP-JAMS
- “Theme of Cyclops” arranged by CAP-JAMS
- “Theme of Jin” arranged by CAP-JAMS
- “Theme of Captain Commando” arranged by CAP-JAMS
The resolution option, offline versus, menu button setting, and game reset changes are also coming to Capcom Fighting Collection and Capcom Fighting Collection 2.
Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam.
