It looks like Dragon Age: The Veilguard has received its last major update, if its patch notes are anything to go by. EA recently revealed that the game reached 1.5 million players, which is 50% less than its expectations. This has apparently led the publisher to pull the plug on post-launch support in just three months.

Bioware prefaced Dragon Age: The Veilguard update 5 patch notes by announcing that it’ll only be monitoring the game for critical bugs and issues going forward, leading to speculations that this is the final major update.
“We were so happy with the game’s stability at launch and hope you have enjoyed our Quality of Life patches since then,” the patch notes read. “With the game being in a stable place, we are moving to monitor for any game-breaking bugs should those occur.”
This does certainly sound like a final update even though Bioware didn’t explicitly say so.
