Logitech’s new Flip Folio for iPad Air and iPad Pro
Logitech’s new Flip Folio makes it easier than ever to turn your iPad into a comfortable, portable workstation.
While we adore our Magic Keyboard, there is something undeniably limiting about it — you’re pretty much stuck with the single layout Apple gives you.
Logitech’s new Flip Folio wants to shake that up by fusing portability with adaptability. Its case combines a Bluetooth keyboard with a magnetic folio, making it perfect for anyone who wants the freedom to work the way they like.
This is especially great if you want to place your iPad on a higher surface than your keyboard to reduce neck strain while working. Logitech also gives you the option to work in portrait mode — perfect for Pages projects.
The kickstand adjusts to multiple angles, allowing you to find the perfect position for writing, watching videos, making FaceTime calls, and more. When it’s time to pack up, the Bluetooth keyboard magnetically attaches to the Folio, making it a breeze to stash it in a bag or carry it with a single hand.
Logitech Flip Folio allows you to orient your iPad in portrait mode
The Flip comes in two sizes that are compatible with the following models:
- 13-inch M4 iPad Pro
- 13-inch M2 iPad Air
- 13-inch M2 iPad Air
- 11-inch M4 iPad Pro
- 11-inch M3 iPad Air
- 11-inch M2 iPad Air
- iPad Air (5th gen)
Unlike Apple’s Magic Keyboard, there’s no passive charging; in fact, there’s no charging at all. The included Bluetooth keyboard is powered by four replaceable coin cell batteries, which Logitech says should last for two years, assuming two hours of daily use.
Currently, it’s available in two colors: graphite and midnight black. If you’re willing to wait a little longer, Logitech has a lilac and soft gray option in the works
The 11-inch Flip Folio costs $159.99, while the 13-inch Flip Folio comes in slightly pricier at $179.99. You can purchase either from Logitech’s website, and from Amazon for $159.99 and $179.99, respectively.
