Royal Enfield collaborated with Icon Motosports, an American custom motorcycle builder, to build a limited-edition Shotgun 650. Only 100 units of the motorcycle were available for sale worldwide. Out of the total 100 units, only 25 units of the bike were available for sale in India.
The bike was available for sale on February 12, 2025 for a very limited time and had a much premium price tag of Rs 4,25,000 (ex-showroom), which is Rs 65,000 more than the regular Shotgun 650 and all 25 units available for sale in India were sold out in mere seconds. For the buyers, who couldn’t buy the bike during the sale, a message popped on the sale window – ‘The legacy of the Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 Icon Edition has come to an end. Thank you for participating in the sale.’
The limited-edition Shotgun 650 gets a special ‘Always Something’ livery for the bike in a tri-coloured graphic scheme, with design elements like a red-coloured seat, bar-end mirrors, blue coloured shock absorbers and alloy wheels with a golden tint complimenting the bike. The buyer also got a Royal Enfield ‘Slabtown Intercept RE jacket’ along with the bike.
Other than these changes, the bike remains the same as a regular Shotgun 650 and is powered by the same 648cc air & oil-cooled, SOHC, 4-stroke, parallel-twin engine producing 46PS and 52Nm, and is paired to a 6-speed gearbox. The underpinnings of the bike remain the same as well with the twin shock absorbers just painted in a blue shade. The bike also gets an all-LED lighting setup along with a semi-digital instrument cluster and an accessory tripper navigation pod. Other features of the bike include a removable pillion seat, matte black twin peashooter exhausts and an USB Type-C charging port.
