Saheer turned heads in his zebra-themed Leatt jersey, a dual-sport LS2 helmet, and his fully kitted KTM 390 Adventure
On our KTM Pro-XP Adventure Trail Ride from Bengaluru to Coorg Hill Station in Madikeri, we met many inspiring KTM 390 Adventure owners carrying their own stories with them. One such guy was Mohammed Saheer, he is the one cool guy who showed up dressed for the occasion. He turned heads in his Zebra-themed Leatt jersey, a dual-sport LS2 helmet on his fully kitted KTM 390 Adventure with enduro bike-like mudguard, tall windshield and many more mods.
Since the morning of Day 1, Saheer was full of energy and excitement and that went on till the end of the trip. He is one of those people who chase away all the dullness with their positive vibes and transfer their energy and enthusiasm across the group.
Saheer’s Reason to Participate in this Trail Ride
Saheer already knew KTM expert Dev Venkatesh, who is also a former Indian National Rally Champion. Saheer signed up for the ride immediately when he got to know KTM was providing an opportunity for all the KTM 390 Adventure riders to enhance their skills and learn off-road riding techniques and tricks from Dev, which Saheer knew was going to be an awesome experience.
Saheer shared that he even missed his son’s annual day to attend the KTM Adventure Trail. He admitted, “My family isn’t happy about it, and I know I’ll face some scolding. But I’ve been telling everyone, I have to do this under the amazing guidance of KTM Experts like Dev and Durgesh.” This highlights just how important the event was to him.
Saheer’s Experience at the KTM Academy and the Trails
We had a talk with Saheer where he shared his experience about the Bengaluru-Coorg Adventure Trail ride, to which he said, “The trails were fantastic—flat trails, broken roads, farmland, quarries, slush—you name it, we did it. we covered everything an adventure rider could want.
Saheer also shared his experience with the KTM Academy, “As for the academy, the drills we practised were essential. Skills like the “elephant turns,” marking your lines, and handling tight spaces—these are things every rider needs to master. Flat tracks are easy, but on tight trails, learning to turn your bike efficiently is critical. These drills taught us to handle such situations with confidence.”
Events like the KTM Adventure Trail ride are a great opportunity to make friends like Saheer, who make sure that the excitement level never goes down. These events are for having fun and celebrating biking brotherhood with people who share the same passion for motorcycles as you. Every route is curated as per the bike’s character, to make sure the riders test out the off-road capabilities of their bikes. The training that you receive and the skills that you build under the KTM expert’s guidance teach you practical tricks that you can also apply in the real world.
KTM is also going to launch its updated ADV range in India very soon. If you also want to join the KTM community and go on such exciting Adventure trail rides, then you can check out the KTM ProXP website for more details.
