Lakshman Raj is a 36 year old entrepreneur based out of Bengaluru – with a life long passion for all things two-wheeled. His motorcycling journey began in his youth on a 2-stroke 125cc bike. After many years of owning a variety of motorcycles, Lakshman’s weapon of choice these days is the KTM 250 Adventure. To Lakshman, his 250 Adventure is anything but an ordinary machine.
A Dream Come True: Owning a KTM
For Lakshman, a KTM was something he had always dreamed of owning. “My passion for orange juice led me to buy a KTM,” he says funnily, recalling the iconic KTM orange that had drawn him in. It had been years since he had ridden a motorbike, but the 250 Adventure was his comeback ride. “It has been super cool,” Lakshman tells us, sounding absolutely delighted with his new motorcycle. The Adventure has turned out to be his everyday bike, and he could not be more pleased about it.
The Pleasure of Riding Daily
Lakshman likes to ride daily, from short commutes to long highway rides. “I ride almost 50 to 80km daily, and I love my ride every day,” he says, highlighting how eagerly he waits for each ride. From cruising through the corners to feeling the excitement of the open road, every aspect of riding is a pleasure for Lakshman. “I also travel long distances and enjoy riding on curves on the highway,” he informs us, sharing with us how much he enjoys the excitement of the open road.
KTM Pro-XP: A Learning Experience Worthwhile
Lakshman has also done the KTM Adventure Academy Pro-XP Bronze Level, which was an enriching experience for him. “It was fascinating and I learned a lot from it,” he states, relishing the ground level information that he learned at the event. The training assisted him in developing his riding technique and comprehending his motorcycle better. “It definitely made me a better rider,”Lakshman informs us, highlighting the must-haves of being such a key confidence booster and builder of riding skills.
His Ownership Experience
For Lakshman, the KTM 250 Adventure is a realization of his years-long fantasy. “It has been a dream for me to own an orange horse and drive till I can not go any more,” he states. The KTM is not just something of adventure, now it is a part of his daily life, giving him the freedom to ride whenever he wishes.
Guidance to Prospective Riders
Lakshman’s guidance to prospective riders is straightforward: “I would definitely recommend KTM Pro-XP events to all owners of a KTM Adventure bike. It is always worth attending and experiencing it,” he invites fellow KTM bikers to participate in the events so that they can enhance their skills and experience the entire adventure riding experience. On the back of his trusty steed, his 250 Adventure, Lakshman Raj is dreaming large with a KTM and open road fun. The mixed bag of regular rides, long journeys, and Pro-XP events learnings that he has done has only strengthened his passion for adventure biking.
