Quick News Highlights

  • The KTM 390 Duke gets a 10 year warranty

  • While Triumph offers a 5 year standard and 5 year extended warranty

  • The 10-year coverage from both brands is free of cost for a limited time

KTM India and Triumph India have introduced limited time 10-year warranty offers on select motorcycles including the KTM 390 Duke, Triumph Speed 400, Triumph Scrambler 400 X, and Triumph Speed T4. These offers are valid until June 30, 2025.

KTM 390 Duke

KTM is offering a 10 year warranty on the 390 Duke and the deal is available through authorised KTM dealerships until June 30, 2025. Usually the 390 Duke comes with a 2-year standard warranty and an optional 3 year extended warranty. We’d advise you to check with your local dealer for the exact terms of the new warranty, such as the split between standard and extended coverage.

The KTM 390 Duke was also updated earlier this year with a new colour and features. It includes cruise control and revised switchgear on the left side of the handlebar taken from the 390 Adventure. It was then again updated in May with new Apollo Alpha H1 tyres.

Triumph 400cc Bikes

Triumph India, on the other hand, is offering a free 10 year warranty that includes 5 years of standard coverage and 5 years of extended coverage, also valid till 30 June 2025. It is valid on the TR-series motorcycles which includes the Speed 400, Scrambler 400 X, and Speed T4. Without the offer, Triumph motorcycles generally come with a 2 year, unlimited kilometre warranty, and an optional 3 years/45,000km extended plan.

All three bikes continue with the same 398.15cc engine that makes 40PS and 37.5Nm in the Speed 400 and Scrambler, while it produces 30PS and 36Nm on the Speed T4. The 400 and 400 X also get traction control and ride-by-wire, whereas the X adds switchable ABS as well. The Scrambler 400 X recently received a new Lava Red Satin colour, and got a slight price hike to Rs 2,67,207 (ex-showroom).

BikeDekho Says

All the aforementioned bikes from KTM and Triumph offer great value for money with healthy performance, good feature list, and fantastic looks as well. With the limited-period warranty schemes, the deal just got a whole lot sweeter, and will go a long way in ensuring the long-term ownership experience is as hasslefree as it can ever get. Interested consumers are advised to contact dealerships for all the in-depth details, full terms and conditions for the offer.
