KTM has updated the 390 Duke for the Indian market. The updated bike has been spotted at a KTM dealership with a new black colour scheme and also cruise control being added to the feature list. The bike is currently priced at Rs 2,95,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The dealership in which this bike was spotted said that the updates are available with no change in pricing. This will be further confirmed when KTM officially launches this bike. It is expected to happen in the coming days.
New Black Colour Scheme:
The new colour scheme of the 390 Duke gets dark grey body panels with contrasting orange graphics and the tank extensions are painted in black. It gets a dark grey coloured front fender and features KTM’s iconic exposed orange coloured subframe for that sporty and aggressive look. The bike now gets matching black coloured alloy wheels.
Cruise Control:
The bike already had a long feature list and now with cruise control being added to the list, the convenience factor of the bike will increase a lot. The 390 Duke with its upright riding position, powerful and refined engine with triple-digit cruising ability can already cover long distances with ease. Now, with the addition of cruise control, the touring abilities of the bike will increase significantly.
More about the KTM 390 Duke:
The KTM 390 Duke is powered by a 399cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine producing 46PS and 39Nm. It is paired to a 6-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch. The bike also gets a bi-directional quickshifter and ride-by-wire throttle.
It features a 5-inch bonded glass TFT display with smartphone connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, call and SMS/alerts. It gets three riding modes: Rain, Street and a dedicated Track mode with launch control. The bike gets 320mm front and 240mm rear disc brakes with dual-channel switchable ABS. It also gets an IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit) for cornering ABS and is equipped with a traction control system.
The 390 Duke gets a fully adjustable inverted fork and a monoshock. It gets 17-inch alloy wheels with 110-section front and 150-section rear tubeless tyres. The 390 Duke weighs 168.3kg (kerb weight) and gets a seat height of 800mm as standard that can be increased with an accessory seat. It rivals the likes of the Yamaha MT-03 and the Aprilia Tuono 457.
