China’s JAC has launched limited-time offers across the T9 ute range, slashing $3000 off the asking price of both dual-cab variants.
JAC Australia has announced two deals for 2024 model year examples of the T9, not available in conjunction with each other and running until April 30, 2025.
The first offer provides a $3000 discount if you trade in a vehicle that is registered and in roadworthy condition, and passes a “JAC inspection”.
JAC’s second offer gives a $3000 ‘grant’ to first-time buyers of the T9, with a limit of one per customer.

The discounts bring the T9’s price down to $39,662 before on-road costs for the Oasis base model, and $42,630 plus on-roads for the Haven.
Model | Regular price before on-road costs | Price after discounts |
---|---|---|
2025 JAC T9 Oasis | $42,662 | $39,662 (-$3000) |
2025 JAC T9 Haven | $45,630 | $42,630 (-$3000) |
With a sub-$40,000 price tag, the T9 directly competes with a wide array of budget-priced dual-cab ute rivals like the GWM Cannon, KGM SsangYong Musso, and LDV T60 Max.
Both variants utilise a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine producing 120kW of power and 410Nm of torque, mated to a ZF-sourced eight-speed automatic transmission and four-wheel drive.

After initially claiming the T9 would have a 3500kg braked towing capacity, JAC revised this down to 3000kg, but last month increased it to 3200kg.
Standard features across the range include a 10.4-inch infotainment touchscreen, 7.0-inch trip computer display, adaptive cruise control with traffic jam assist, automatic wipers, leather-accented interior trim, and a power-adjustable driver’s seat.
The JAC T9 is covered by a seven-year, unlimited-kilometre warranty, with seven years of roadside assistance and seven years of capped-price servicing.
