Now that update 1.7 is finally here, all eyes are on Zenless Zone Zero Season 2. Set to arrive later this year, Hoyoverse will finally let us begin exploring an all-new area, experience a plethora of major gameplay overhauls, and get our hands on plenty of new agents. If you’re already planning your pulls for ZZZ version 2.0, then, Hoyoverse has just unveiled two of the new agents set to arrive in the next season, and they’re looking nothing short of incredible.
With Zenless Zone Zero Season 2 set to launch in June, you’ve got plenty of time to learn about all the agents set to change your team compositions. The gacha game is constantly introducing more Zenless Zone Zero banners for you to try and pull new characters, and version 2.0 is going to be no different. So don’t go spending too much Master Tape or Polychrome just yet.
First up is the physical defense fighter Pan Yinhu. The gigantic panda joins Ben Bigger as the second ZZZ bear agent, and I wouldn’t be surprised to learn that he packs a punch. Pan Yinhu is a member of Yunkui Summit, and appears to share their love for food with another kung fu fighting fictional panda. So if you’re looking for a towering powerhouse to put up a wall for your squad, Pan’s got you covered.
Hoyoverse didn’t waste any time, either, fully unveiling fellow Yunkui Summit member Yixuan right alongside Pan Yinhu. We don’t know this S-Rank agent’s playstyle just yet, apart from the fact that she uses Ether in a unique way, akin to Miyabi’s frost. I’d expect Yixuan to have a banner all to herself come version 2.0, but only time will tell what Hoyoverse has planned.
Both Yixuan and Pan Yinhu are part of the Yunkui Summit faction, and from what we know of Season 2 so far the group going to play a huge role in Phaethon’s story. The martial arts faction calls version 2’s new area of Waifei Peninsula home, so they’ll be central to the newly unfolding narrative either way. Thanks to a new cutscene in update 1.7, we also know that Yixuan is going to teach Wise and Belle how to defend themselves.
